1954 Red Heart

Are these a "Regional" set, or was Red Heart Dog Food distributed nationally? If there are some experts out there, give us some insight. It looks like there is a good cardboard stock used, and it is a small, good looking set.

Thanks in advance

From what I"ve seen they could be had anywhere in the country. I think they are classified as "regionals" just because they are Topps/Bowman/Fleer/etc. Hires seem to fall into the same category, along with Red Mans.
Red Heart Dog food also made Morrell hot dogs, draw your own conclusions there! As late as the mid 70's you could still get the blue and green series directly from the company- I remember everyone seemed to sell them at shows then for a buck each, and everything was mint. Its a pretty easy set in PSA 7, step up to 8's and it's a bit trickier. I had the toughest time with Lemon and Snider, both due to centering issues.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
