My 1000th post

I have been on these boards for over 2 years now, and even though 10% of my posts relate to PF Changs, and the first 40% of my posts were in heated debate with our favorite national card dealer, Mike Tyson ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Wentz, I thought I would make my 1000th post one of reflection and gratitude. I really appreciate these boards and you folks that get on here and share your collecting/investing passions with each other.

I have learned more about cards in the last 2 years than I had in the 32 years prior to that. Visiting these boards is a great escape from the daily grind of life, and I hope this continues for decades to come. I want to give a special thanks to all of you who bid on my 1958 PSA 8 cards that I thought were worth $20-$30, yet you continued the bidding well into the $200-$300 range. I also want to thank CU for providing this forum and PSA for providing a service that has increased my net worth considerably.

Dude, you are the man, and there are many others on here who I have come to know and appreciate, either personally or just through your posts - even you Ranch. I want to give a shout out to murcerfan, who makes me laugh several times per week, and for his vigilant pursuit of hobby accountability. JoeStalin, your passion for Soriano is only surpassed by your disdain for Bonds - good stuff. All you fantasy football players - uniship will win in 2004 in spite of VaYank's pesky performances year in and year out. There are many more good folks I would like to recognize, but I must go now to get home in time for American Idol (Latoya London was robbed). It has been real, and I hope it continues to be.

Sure it was only Uniship's 1000th post, but it took over one million combined posts for you to be appreciated. I wouldn't start planning your campaign for mayor of these boards.

Great post! But in the time it took me to read it Vargha has added another 1000 posts. (just kidding) The great thing is that you always have a lot to contribute to these boards! And by the way, Latoya was robbed!!!

I was gonna say if you stick around a couple more decades you may catch vargha but Wayne kinda got that joke in first. Anyways congratulations Eric, it really is a great place to hang out , learn , and laugh most of the time.

I just moved 3 miles from a PF Changs. My wife said we needed to find a good chineese place and I took her there. 1 less thing to look for.
