My San Juan toned Merc Dime -- Grade Revealed!

Surprisingly no one got it right ---- it currently resides in an ANACS MS62 holder. While I didn't pay 62 money, I got it for $39.00, I still think its a great coin. Not sure where I'm sending it to -- PCGS, NGC or ANACS but I am going to crack it out and see what it brings. I'll keep everyone posted.

Any spots/marks are on the holder. By the way it is in a very early ANACS slab. And do you think it will get a FSB designation?
Thanks
Michael

I see no evidence of it NOT being FB. Looks great! I say 67FB.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I'm going to San Juan on the next flight too

This looks much better than cat vomit... or even that time your dog threw-up all over your coin box...

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing too. The air is humid and its hot. I can only imagine those are perfect conditions for toning to occur.
I really liked this coin. I think it has outstanding eye appeal and will be part of my collection for a long time -- no matter the grade or designation.
I don't think it really matters what the grade is -- even MS67 FSB aren't worth that much. Add the color and I got a great deal if it does grade to a MS67 FSB. I doubt it'll hit 68 due to the hits on the reverse. But even a 66 would be nice.
I give it to the end of today and I'll post the ANACS grade.
Thanks,
Michael

If it was Baley's thread i would definitely have guessed 62.......
If that means you think I sometimes show you coins that cost 62 money and look like gems, I'll take it as a compliment
though whether on my shopping or my photography, I don't know
