This is my favorite that is in my possession... front, back, inside and inside the insides image... I have another prize I will be getting soon, but for now, this is my favorite. I've posted it before too, but oh well.

    That thing did bring me luck, actually. The area where I found it was one of my hottest detecting hotspots in town. Lots of Indian cents, a Victorian Canadian large cent, some Barber dimes, and some neat tokens.

    I'm pretty amazed to see those high reliefs on the medals whitch can't be expected to see on coins.

    Wow, those are some cool medals..and naturally Trozau has one with what appears to be St. George killing a dragon, and theboz has BBLs image.

    back in 1978, Greece, waterski junior's championship, first place overall (slalom , tricks and jump ).

    39mm,artistically not very challenging, but I'm very attached to it. image

    Here is one of my favorites. The medal is struck in very high relief with very high rims which is not apparent in the image. It was awarded at the Grenoble art exposition in 1866.
