What does this qualifier mean?

Comments

  • "Out of focus"

I think that's the first time I've ever seen it used.

    Copied from the lingo section:

    OF (out of focus)
Type of qualifier. The card exhibits poor focus that causes the card to fall below the minimum standard for the grade. This usually occurs in the form of a blurred image on the front.

I bet the seller would prefer that shoppers think it means outfield.

Thanks - you are right, I have never seen that used before.

  • I saw it on a card a long time ago. the printing has to be really bad where you get a double print look to it. It makes it look like the pic is out of focus. OF looks pretty bad.
