Anyone have experience shooting coins with this (Sony DSC-F828) camera??

Just ordered a Sony DSC-F828 after checking it out at the local store. I was impressed with the ease of use and 8 megapix resolution. It's for my wife but in playing with it, it seems to have nice macro capabilities. Anyone have familiarity with using it??

    Sorry, but I don't have any experience with that model. I'm guessing it's a newer and better model than my Sony DSC-S85, and I get great photos with mine...Ken

    I have the older 505 model. It's really awesome & I can't imagine how nice newer models are. The macro on this series
    is incredible. Easy to use as well.

    Yep, all my pictures are taken with the DSC-S85, too. Great camera with nice Macro capabilities.

    I use my F828 all day long. It's fantastic for coins, indoor/outdoor, girlfriends (err woops!), etc.. Having owned many professional digital cameras, this is the *only* point and shoot pro camera out there. Well worth the $900. I'd recommend that if you are looking for pro pics, use it!

    Those images have sold me. I love it when someone does the leg work for me. I have planned on buying a digital camera for awhile now. Simplicity is also a factor; this camera seems to have it all. Thanks !

    I use the sony dcrdvd300 that takes movies and stills and shoots direct to
    dvd, like the TV commercial...it appears to take excellent shots even though ive
    yet to figure out all its capabilities:
