Thank you Ajaan (UGLY PHOTO WARNING!)

I got this coin in the mail from Ajaan this week. On 12 May 1983, Colin Cooke sold it to Dr. Basil Nicholson for £55. It remained in the Nicholson until March of 2004 when it was purchased by Ajaan who has now agreed to sell it to me. Chances are good that I will own it for at least as long as Dr. Nicholson did.

Wybrit, there is no question seeing this coin in hand that it is BU, Ajaan is just mad because several people said they thought it was AU when he posted it back in March.

I hope I was not one of those that said it was AU in March...image Great looking coin and I would hold on to this one for a while too. While I am not a copper expert, but it almost looks more red than red/brown

The pound was worth more then, so I hope you took that into account in reimbursing Ajaan.image

... and here I was thinking it might have been the rare "well-tempered breast" variety. Well, I guess you can't have it all (leastways from Ajaan). image
