Anybody ELSE unable to even ACCESS eBay?

Past 2 days. Don't know if my computer is trying to save me money or keep me from thinking about coins, but for past two days..........SLOW.......is not even the word.
Just freezes trying to get in.

Other sites just fine........welllllllll.......some others are slowing too.

I was having problems. I turned off my equipment and turned it back on. No help. Then I unplugged everything, my router, my DSL modem and computer. I waited a few minutes then plugged everything back in. Now everything is working, I can access eBay and all the sites I was having problems with.

The new format offers more, and as usual with something new, it's confusing.

This is maddening. I can access the site. I can narrow the search.

I can .....NOT.....access any individual coin.

Just now fooling around. Problem ONLY if I search something like an individual date.
If I stick to their BIN narrowing or anything like that, it works.

But if I put in "1853" or a date, the search shows but the individual listings will not come up.

For the last few weeks, when I access Ebay, my router gets hammered, almost a DOS attack. Sometimes, I actually have to reset it at regular intervals (10 minutes) to use the site. It only happens when I browse Ebay, and none of the packet fragments are getting past the router. Behind the firewall, I'm running Norton, and I don't have the Sasser worm. I'm on a cable modem. It's interesting to me that the attacks target my router when I access Ebay.

The new Ebay format has its pluses and minuses, but it is taking alot to get used to. Somethings drive me crazy

I've been using the new ebay format since the beta first became available and I've become quite accustomed to it. Keep in mind that you can customize the page however you like. The new features like being able to mark your items as shipped, recieved feedback, etc. is nice (in the "action" column, next to the words "view payment status" click on the down arrow.) One thing I DO NOT like is the fact that in all listings such as items I'm selling, Items I've sold, etc. the auction title is shown BELOW the information such as winning bidder, etc. rather than above it.

I've been having spotty ebay problems the past few days. Sometimes can't
open the site when others are working fine. Sometimes having been getting
ebay-hosted photos. Right now I can't get any AboutMe pages.

try ereasing your cookies and temp files on your computer. That will slow your computer down.
