Hi all. I have been looking for a circulated fugio cent. (Not a restrike.) Grade from good to vf. Anyone got a nice one to show me?

    Don't have one to part with, but if I could share a little of what I was told when I was looking for one... apparently the slabbed ones can be seriously overgraded by comparison to the standards of the colonial copper guys. The point was that there are many, many nice raw ones out there and if you only compare slabbed to raw, you can pay a lot more for a lot less due to the grading differential.

    The Fugio is one of the coolest coins going and I looked a long time before I got one. Good luck!

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    Iras4 had a nice one on ebay very recently. You might check his listings or even email him.

    First Class Seller, no worries when dealing with him in case you're not familiar.
