Need help regarding grading of 78-79 Basketball and 58 Football

I really only collect vintage baseball but I got a sweet deal on two NM-MT complete sets of 78-79 basketball and a nice 14 card lot of 58 football. Could anyone give me an idea of the market for these cards. Should I grade commons or just stars? What is the minimum target grade that would be worth grading? Is there a market for these cards in raw? Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks

for 1978-79, you need to get at least psa 9, some commons with high pop go for less than $10
stars and low pop commons would go for more,
this set suffers from snow on the surface, so even if they look really nice you need to look carefully at the surface at an angle,
raw sets in nm/mt I have seen go for $ 50 or more, depending who the seller is
but the sets usually sell for under $30
