First Submission results, what should i do?

I took these cards as well as about 50 other cards in similar condition to 2 different psa certified dealers who have lots of expierence with psa. They told me that these cards are all in the 8-9 range, with a couple maybe getting 7's. they looked at them thru a loop and everything. I am kind of disappointed with my results. should i send in the rest to get graded hoping that i just got a really tough grader this time or just keep them raw?

Those grades don't look too bad if you were expecting 8's. The grader obviously had a reason why they graded them as they did. Depends on what the other cards are as far as making a decision whether to send them in. If they are other semi-stars from 65 Phil. and in the same condition as the ones you sent it, then probably not because you're going to be hard pressed to justify $10 a card when most have SMR values in the $20-30 range if they get 8's, but if they fall short and get 6's & 7's as they did here, you'll never get your money out of them. If the cards have higher value (like $50) in any grade 6 and up, then it might make a lot more sense. Also depends on what you plan on doing with them... if you want to sell them on E-bay, you'll get next to nothing for them raw. But if you're just keeping them for your collection, that's another story because justifing the grading costs is not as big of a concern.

There's a great pamphlet written by a former submitter who took is own life. It ends with a poem that might help you during your grieving period:

    Farewell-

The sky is dark is on the brightest of days,
I'm oblivious to pleasure, the pain always stays,
I've lost my path in this complicated maze,
Baseball cards have damned my daily ways.

If sixes are eights and fives are threes,
What's the point of enjoying the summer breeze?
The lure of big dollar graded cards is just a tease,
I've gone broke just paying out insane express fees.

I'm injecting myself wit Ebola as we speak,
This battle is large and I'm too weak,
Onto the next worldly plane I go and sneak,
PSA, plant a big kiss on my left ass cheek.

If you're looking for cards to have graded and then sell, check the pop report,
and if you have any low pops that would come back at least an 8, then they're worth submitting.

If the stars you submitted were "the best" of the star cards,
then the others are probably only going to be 6's which generally sell for about the same raw.

maybe they meant that if they submitted them....
............... they would get those grades ?

    edited to add:
    probably not...
likely it's just a complete fluke.
remember that grading is subjective and everybody makes mistakes.

After reading about the unfortunate individual in Scumbi's post,
I'm thinking about starting a suicide hotline for disappointed submitters.

Any volunteers to man the phones ?
Looking for sensitive and understanding persons. You sarcastic guys need not apply ...
