I'm doing a project for school and part of it requires a short survey to do a little bit of research. Just post the answers if you could please, as many people as possible! THANK YOU

    well, thanks for the help -- not to put this board down or anything, but I got less than 10 responses from this board and about 80 responses from the Beckett boards.... hmmmm... image

    So maybe the people on the Beckett boards had no plans for this weekend? Or in general no life at all? No offense of course.

    You know, I'd logged in so I could respond, then scrolled down all the way through the thread and saw this.

    Take it from someone who teaches survey design - this was the wrong way to increase your response rate.

    p.s. The right way, if you're interested, would have been to purchase a gift certificate for 2 free gradings and enter everyone who responded in a random drawing (or something similar). Or at the very least, to not be sarcastic.

    And hope you do not need any more "help" in the future and have people remember.

    Maybe you should do a survey on the way people are expected to act before during and after when they "need" something from people they do not know.

You don't even have the decency to return a "thanks" via PM for those who responded to you via PM, like myself. Then ... you trash us all. If you are doing a school project, you need to learn that the personal touch is far more important than the statistics.image

    like several others... I responded via PM BEFORE I continued to read the posts where you said you had enough....

    Hopefully too many is a good thing,

    I think it is Great that you got a positive, quick reponse from these boards.
    It goes to show what a "community" we really do have here.

    I didn't break it down by each seperate board, but overall I did the averages and this is what it came to be:

    71% ARE NOT INTERESTED
    29% ARE INTERESTED

    3) How much do you spend on average per month for your hobby?

    $227 PER MONTH

    4) What genre(s) of music do you listen to?
    Varied too much

    5) Would you collect musicians autographs or memorabilia?

    56% SAID YES
    44% SAID NO

    Age: AVERAGE -- 24 years old
    Gender: 99.5% M, 0.5% F
    Yearly Income Range: $20,000 - $50,000
