This coin has the following history:

It has been a part of my personal George III type set for over a year and is listed and pictured on my George III Type Set page. Prior to me it was owned by Spinaker and then Ajaan. Will it now be owned by a 4th Darksider?image

One thing I noticed in looking at this coin vs. several other 1799 1/2d that are sitting around is that the upper flag (the one at the top of the central mast) is only about half as long as it is on the others. Has there been any research on the flags or other details? I also notice that on the ex. Ajaan/ex. Nicholson 1/2d that the gunports form an arc rather than a line.
