Okay ... MY jaw dropped!!!

Exposition Universelle 1900 Paris Ceramic Sevres Yes, it's rare, especially clean and intact at that size ... but it's hard to tell whether this was serious bidding or two überbidders tripping over one another. When I went to place my BAFO bid, it was well over anything I'd consider. Who knows? They may be right. Porcelain is not something I collect much of, but that's far and above any what I've seen any porcelain notgeld go for.

    Wowzers!!! I barely can see anything from the pictures, but perhaps those bidders know something I don't. I would trust the seller though, at least from I've gotten from her.

    BTW...what is BAFO?

    BAFO = "Best And Final Offer". (It's government-ese.)

    The trouble with porcelain medals and notgeld is that the camera makes them easier to "see" than they actually are in "real" life.
