My new room mate...

In the living room of my new place there was a large tin of Danish Butter cookies. Of course that's just begging to be opened, but when we did open it we found a large collection of darkside coins. My new room mate is a coin collector image

I'll have to give him some of the coins I brought so I can coax him into telling me where one can buy coins in this town.

Far out, man! I'll bet the cookies would have tasted better.

Just at the head of Kaiserstr in front of the statue (this is all just before getting into the fussgangerzone) there is a store, Kroker & Walsch I think it's called. Not sure how good it is but they sell coins. Also try the banks. Some banks usually sell modern era stuff and it's pretty much a racket where they horde all the good stuff for their dealer buddies. At least here it is. Also, I think I already told you about the local coin club.. might be easier to get into with a German friend image

Good luck and glad to hear you already have a place to stay! image
  • I have a plenty of these Danish Butter cookies tins at home and at work (my older son's favourite cookies image) but unfortunatelly never found there any coins image

But some friend of mine, indeed used these tins for his doubles image

    Interesting "start" you have there.....image
