I have the chance to purchase 12 1970 uncirculated sets still sealed in mint plastic and each one has the 1970D JFK MONEY COIN, still in MINT PLASTIC. The owner of the sets wants 36.00 per set which
is an incredable offer in my opinion just because the 1970D JFK. I do not plan to buy these sets unless someone IM's or EMAILS with a bid beyond 36.00 plus postage and insurance.

How do you feel about the price? To be perfectly honest I think that is kind of high. I found a website awhile back that has 1970 mint sets for sale in quantities of 10 for $160 plus about $5 for shipping. I am not certain if they are indeed still for sale at that price but a person might call or email Tom Becker for more information on availability.

I have only bought one 1970 Mint Set. I bought it from Dave
Olmstead of Alpine Numismatics about 6 months ago with a bunch of other mint and proof sets. It ended up having a MS65 Kennedy. He was clearancing all of his mint and proof sets. Really decent prices at or below bid. Anyway here are some links.

I honestly think it is a bit on the high side, the white mint envelopes have been opened. But on the the other hand,
I have gotten 75 TO 140 dollars for PCGS 1970D's in MS65 and MS66 just recently.

To be a non-player in this deal and to keep people from thinking
I am dishonest, I only looked at the contents of one envelope. The
JFK was a very nice example in this envelope was very nice looking.
