Need a little help on an autographed card

Along with the 1941 Playball Ted Williams and Pee Wee Reese cards I picked up in the recently completed Mike Gutierrez auctions, an autographed 1941 Playball Rollie Hemsley was included in the lot. I'm doing some background work to prepare listing some of the cards I've won, and have run into a bit of a problem with this Hemsley card. Baseball Reference indicates he was an above average player(5 time all star catcher), and that he passed away back in 1972, and played for the Pirates, Indians and Yankees. I've checked all current and recent eBay auctions for the last 30 days, and cannot find one autograph of his that has sold recently. A check of the web reveals only one item for sale, a picture, for $150. Has anyone ever seen, sold, or have any idea what the normal price of one of his autographs would go for? Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. The cards should be here next Tuesday (grrr, UPS ground), and I'll post a scan of the card when it arrives.
Who is Rober Maris?
