So I get a phone call today about buying coins

I have run an ad in the local newspaper for some time. Cash for U.S. coins...blah blah. I have gotten some good responses, but also HUNDREDS of calls about the silver 1943 penny they have etc. Most of the time it is "fun" to educate people about what they have.
Today I get a call from an individual who had an Uncle pass on. They wanted to get rid of all of the coins he had collected. I asked what kind of coins they had, and the response was basically "all kinds". Turns out they only lived a mile from the house, so off I go.
Well their Uncle was a pack rat of a coin collector. From Flying Eagle Cents, to Barber dimes, to V nickels, Buffs, Walker's..you get the idea.
Quite a few of the coins are cleaned, but just as many aren't. Some real gem Buff's and Morgans and Indian Cents so far.
The couple who were selling recognized me from the newspaper articles that ran when I retired from the USAF last year. Told me that they would only take a fraction of the price I quoted them. They said they would throw the coins away if I didn't accept there offer. Well whats a coinaholic to do
Anyway, I guess I will be busy looking through the 1000 or so coins I bought today
