OT - is anyone else having this trouble?

It seems that nowadays I have to enter my ebay password about ten times before I can get in and do anything on it. I can be signed in, but if I create an invoice or try to pay a seller it pops back up with another sign-in page and ignores anything I enter, except when I enter in the password incorrectly. I'm about ready to chuck the whole thing!

It does seem that every action that you want to take on ebay requires a re-enrty. I just have windows remember sign- ins and then I just have to double click on the enter box. yes it is a pain, but may be a newsecurity feature of ebay's

I just signed in without any problems. Additionally, over the weekend I paid for two auctions without any problems. Is your browser set to reject all cookies?

Rarely, ebay pops up such a message. My security is not set to "block all cookies," however.

Wybrit, I had it happen to me exactly that way on an older computer. When I took it in for a major disc cleanup, the tech told me that spyware and all the little uglies we accumulate nowadays are likely responsible for those kinds of frustrations.

Interesting. I just cleaned out all the spyware and adware last week, including the evil CASPROG. It was unreal how much junk I had on this computer. That said, the problem has only surfaced in the last couple of days.

I've always had that problem.. and always when I'm in a hurry image

But I use Opera and it tends to be kind of kooky with some of the fancier websites. That problem seems to just pop in randomly, not a constant annoyance. It is a great browser for sniping, it's a lot easier to open multiple windows and toggle between them image

I use Mozilla and it's three hundred times better than IE ..... I kept hearing recommendations for it on the radio and TV. Really cool.

Being a complete image with computers that's my pathetic contribution.

I have been experiencing the same problems. I read somewhere, PC Magazine perhaps, that you can go into your cookie cache and delete every cookie from Ebay. This will require your machine to cache each cookie again over time but should take care of the glitch...what the hell, can't hurt.
