Quirkey sellers

I could probably come up with half a dozen but right now I'm dealing with eurekadogman
who insists that correspondance and money orders be addressed to "Mr. Molinaro"

No first name, just Mr. Molinaro. Reminds me of an old Dragnet episode where
the villan insisted on being called Mister as well.

Maybe he's got a kid with the same first name and the kid gets the mail before
he gets home from work and he's afraid AJ (soprano's reference) will cash the money order?

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards

    Maybe he's a mob boss.

Al Molinaro played "Al" before Pat Morita on Happy Days. Naturally, a star of his caliber would want to avoid autograph hounds and paparazzi. I think that explains it.

Ever see T.J. Schwartz's auction listings? They say "His authenticity is unquestioned."

That's good to know. For a moment I was afraid there was an intergalactic conspiracy to replace overweight card dealers with pod people.

  • I won a card from nylozlo. He insisted on the payment being made to "GM's Office" and delivered to a PO Box in NY. I never could get his real name. That's even how it's registered with ebay.

If he were thinking more clearly, he would have the checks go to his home.....perhaps even to Mrs. Molinaro. Then he should have the incoming packages go to a po box or office under an assumed name.

Now there's a Mantle card up (a '67 PSA 2) where the guy actually spent the extra money to add:

"NO RESERVE!!! HIGH BIDDER TAKES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

High bidder takes it? How about that! Thanks for letting me know!
