Before I wen to Iraq, I had cracked out some coins for submission just in case something happened to me, they could be sold for whatever their grade was. Well, my girlfriend never shipped them out until the beginning of February. Well, I have been back for a bit and I realize that they are still in processing. Hey PCGS! What's UP!?

"Your shipment was entered on 02/25/2004. Further processing is pending."

They knew you were gone, so they put them on hold until you got back. Now they'll grade them for you and give you excellent grades.

I gave them a call two weeks agao and on Friday morning. Both times the operator said she would try to get them in for grading as soon as possible.

Moderns are over 40 days also... Try 80 days. I have 9 modern submissions in with the longest being from 02/27/04.

First, let me say thank you for serving in Iraq.

PCGS' original plan was to get economy service turnaround time to about a month or so. Late last year, they were approaching this (they did very well with my last economy submittal -- about a month). That was because their workload was increasing, and they had to hire new graders. David Hall, IMO, does an outstanding job overall. However, the time lag is increasing again this year, but I don't know why. Perhaps you should call them as was previously suggested. For serving in Iraq and for taking so long, they should give you a free submittal or something, IMO.

I wanted to thank you for serving in iraq as well. I was thinking about joining the marines as well, when I graduate from high school. Economy services takes a very, long time. With ANACS it can take 4 months. (Many people on this forum complain often that ANACS enconomy is too long)
