Thank you Ron Hobbs !

A little less than a month ago, Ron & I agreed on a deal for many of his duplicate 1969 Topps BB PSA 7's for my set. Ron gave me a very good price to start with , then agreed to let me make payments rather than pay up front. Well I've made 2 of the 3 payments and today I got an email from Ron saying he'd shipped them out ! It is also my birthday so it was one fine gift. Thank you again Ron and thanks to all the great PSA community always willing to help fellow collectors. image

    Happy B-day, Dave. It's my birthday today too (5-17) and Ron Hobbs just emailed me saying he just put a package in the mail to me that includes a lot of information on the 1952 Topps baseball set. Kind of a weird coincidence.....

    I would just like to reiterate that Ron is one of the nicest and honest guys in the hobby. He has been a collector for a long time, he is a very fair trader, and he is intelligent and connected to some of the hobby's best and brightest. Ron truly knows what he is talking about - and has built some amazing sets during his collecting career. He is a first ballot choice in my card collecting HOF!
    I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Belated Happy Birthday to you Bill ! That is quite a coincidence that Ron also sent you something that day.

    I agree Keith , old BB cards make a great gift. I noticed on gemint's thread that you're a friend of Jeff Gobin. Can you put me in touch with him? I've bought a couple cards from him (his '69 dupes I assume) and would like to see if he has more.
