How do you add Basic Set cards to a Master Set?

OK, here's a dumb question. I've made a basic set and now trying to register a master set. The system tells me that I can't use the same reg. #'s for both sets. What the? I surely don't have to have TWO graded copies of every card in order to build a master set in addition to a basic.

I've never had a problem. Try e-mailing setregistry@collectors.com and tell them about it.

The only thing that I can think of is you have the basic and master sets registered under 2 different usernames. If not, it should work without a problem. I've had one card registered in at least 3 different sets at the same time. Just curious, what are the basic and master sets in question. That might indicate something that I have overlooked.
