Weird medal giveaway
![Blackhawk](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/Icon_zigzag.jpg)
Found this one in my stuff. I think that it may be a so-called half dollar. Anyway...it has a couple digs in the obverse field, but someone may still want it, so I'll offer it in a giveaway. If you're interested in it, post on this thread and a winner will be randomly chosen from all posters on Wednesday evening. I may also include something else in the giveaway if I find another weirdy while going through my coins.

Interesting medal, I don't officially collect them, but I do have my share, so to start things off I will throw my name in the hat. Thanks.....
Neat medal, came to the US in 61, Bremen was our port of departure.

Thanks,

It commemorates the first successful non-stop transatlantic air flight. The pilot, Fitzmaurice, was Irish and the other two crewmen were Germans. The aircraft itself was a Junker airplane and was named the "Bremen." I'm not at home, so I don't have further info at hand.
Good luck to all!
