Talk about slimeball E-Bay sellers...

A rather large E-Bay seller I know was telling me a story at the show today. Seems E-Bay was rather slow this week. He had a proof set with a greysheet bid of $75 on E-Bay. The set sold for $33, well the buyer pays, but the seller never ships the set. The buyer wants to know where is set is and the seller tells him "It must have gotten lost in the mail, I'll refund your money". The buyer wants to see the insurance form and the seller says he is self insured. But now the topper, he tells the buyer he mailed him a cash refund and so far the buyer never received it. You figure the rest out...

Actually its too bad that you don't have the sack to tell who it is. Keeping this dealer's name a secret is just as bad as doing the deed.

what a scam - who would admit to something like that - that is disgusting, but I am sure that there are other scamsters who do it also.

Obviously this scam artist isn't a member of the PNG.

I hope you told him off. He's not doing any of us any good and giving coin collecting / dealers a bad rap.

SOB's like that should be thrown in prison...........
