NEW #1 in johnny bench master set

i`ve been thinking really hard about whether i should announce this or just let it ride. I do not want to come across as to boastful.
there are so many things going on in the world today that make this accomplishment seem so very, very small. yet, it brings me joy and
lets me go back to a time when my worrys were things like; would i make the little league allstar team, where are we going on vacation,
would my best friend be in my class when school started ? In these days, i welcome such relieve.
anyway, scott and steve are so hot on my tail that who knows how long it will last !!
but for right now, i`ve made that little league allstar team, we`re going camping on vacation, and me and my best friend will be sitting
next to each other in class this fall !

I was surprised to see you sitting on top of the heap when I went in to see how to set up my own humble beginnings of a Bench set. Congratulations!

I guess Steve and Scott will have to get upgradin' ... like tracking down that PSA 10 Bench in 1971! What put you over the top, by the way? Prolly something you outbid me for.

As for me, if PSA decides that my SGC 96 Bench rookie is deserving of a PSA 9 holder, I will have the foundations of a Basic Set and can start on the long road of catching you guys.

    Once more, congrats, Lee!

    Lee,
A great accomplishment. Dog fights abound for the high grade cards these days! I bet that last 47% will be tough!
