A rather nice William III 6d

Love the toning but not so sure on the price. Text I think I would feel better if it was in a 64 or 65 slab.

nice coin... reverse is 65 quality, but the obverse may not make it. It is still quite attractive, but the asking price may be alittle rich, with a capital R.

Nice coin, regardless of what the slab might say.

  • Wybrit, I agree with you and to be honest if slabbed I would probably crack it but I was thinking
3rd party opinion. After looking it up it's not all that high. 2004 lists the EF as 225 gbp this could
be one of those buy it or regret it later. Oh well.

Python, you might regret not getting it! Not a bad looking coin, and probably much better looking in person than the pictures show.

I'm not fussed on the tone, too much colour for my liking, but 1700 is a date that doesn't turn up often at all, and in that condition i'd be willing to pay £246 for sure.

If i had the money i'd buy it, tone or no tone it's high grade and it's 1700!

(beats all those 1696s and '97s i keep tripping over).

I have bought from Glenn Woods before on eBay, where his id is gwwoods. Very good seller from the Dallas area. Maybe Askari can fill you in more on Glenn.

I like both of them Python... and for the difference in $$$, I would rather have the own you own. It is a great looking coin.

  • Coinkat, I now own them both.image Between the two it's only $600 and I can live with that.

I much prefer the second one! gorgeous!!
  • Sylvestius, thanks it's a nice coin but it doesn't fit with my collection very well. The toned one will fit
    right in.image

What kinda price would you be expecting if you sold it? (not saying i can afford it, but i'd like to have an idea!)
  • Sylvestius, if I sell I'd like to get $350 or so.
