Having a tough time finding this card in high grade. PSA examples in 8 or better rarely show up and i'm getting a little impatient. I should know better than to mess with BGS/BVG. I would feel better if this card showed a rough edge. Stay away or attempt to cross over? Help me out fellas!

I don't even have to look at the card. PSA has not crossed a single one of the BVG's I've sent them, though several have achieved the grade by breaking out and sending raw. They also dislike GAI holders intensely. I have a little better luck with SGC crossovers.

I am 100% sure that card is sheet cut... I have been burned by BVG with Ryan OPCs in the past... this one shows the same tell tale sign I had to learn the hard way... clean edges all the way around and a little too much white border... if you held this card against a real 1979 OPC, it'd be significantly larger... I'd definitely stay away from this one!

I have to agree, but based only on the few BVG crack and crosses I have heard of. Never a straight, same grade cross...always a grade (or two) less. I think Con40 is correct, the card looks like it has a bit too much white border vs. the ones I have seen.
