    Has to be the remote control. Maybe some other baby boomers can remember actually having to get up off your arse all the time to change the channel. And many times that entailed finding the pliers because the knobs always broke off the TV's.
    Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

    You mentioned the La-Z-Boy. But, you need to take this topic to a whole new level. When I lived in the dorms the party room had these inflatable chairs WITH room for a beer can in the arm rest. Oh yeah baby!
