I'm looking for a coin, preferably in a PCGS holder but any service or even raw will do. My primary "want" is a coin with no evidence of die polish at the 5-6 o'clock position on the obverse on Jefferson's shoulder near the rim. A coin toned blue or blue/pink/violet would be a bonus, but brilliant and die-polish free would be fine. If you have such a coin and can provide a picture and guarantee a return privilege, please PM so we can strike a deal.
Thanks.

I've got a gorgeous white PR66 proof with crystal clear mirrors that should be
in a PR67 holder, but alas, when I looked it over I noticed a couple of small
patches of vertical die polish lines just where you mentioned. This must be
common, eh?

with a mintage of just over 18,000 coins i've probably looked at 1-2% of the total mintage and could count the die-polish free coins on one hand!!!! it is so prevelant from my observation that whatever it resulted from happened on several of the working dies---clash of some type---or a master. it's so extensive that i first look at that area and then look at the overall coin. i've seen die-polish in the same area on 1939, 1940 and 1942 Proofs, but not to the overwhelming extent of the 1941 issue.
