Valuation and Population question

Anyone have any idea what my ANACS 1942-P/P MS65 5 Steps Jefferson values at? How can I find out what the total population is on this variety? Thanks in advance for help.

I think the p/p variety would bring little if any premium. I don't have an ANACS population report but PCGS lists 88 in MS65FS and 200 better. I am not to up on FS nickels but I think PCGS is much harder on the step count and grade? mike image
  • Darktone,

Thanks. I have a hard copy of PCGS April Pop Report, what confused me was there was no listing for this variety coin. Someone else told me that PCGS doesn't have all the varieties listed.

I know, why do I have a PCGS Pop Report if I sent the coins to ANACS????? I just heard from talking to others that they do better designations on the Jeffersons. Plus it fits my budget a little better right now.

PCGS won't list minor varieties such as this on the slab. I looked in the cherry pickers book and I can't find this variety listed either but I know from looking at many of these coins that repunching is not uncommon. mike image
