Then you could have the car graded. They'll have to be carefull what soap and cloths to use, as slight paint scratches will knock it down a grade or so.
Right now, my 2002 Tundra would probably grade an 8, as there's a slight tailgate ding. I could get a car 'doctor' to fix it, but then that opens up another can-of-worms.............
I've been self employed in the car business for 20 years and I've always graded cars 1-10.. The problem is, my 10 isn't the same as someone elses.. Sounds kinda close... I've also had show cars and they do the same thing on how original the car is.. This whole world is on a scale from 1-10.. Kind of like when I was single and dating--well, you get at what I'm trying to say....
I got my car from PRO. Now I find out it is 9 inches shorter than factory spec. Both bumpers are missing. But the inspection sticker says 10 Gem Mint, so I'm cool with it.
