I tried to upload an icon that is only 3KB but it says its too large.

How do I reduce it further?

Cubfan , The maximum size is 100 X 100 pixels. Go to your photo editor (Paintshop Pro or Adobe or whatever you have to reduce the size to that. Hopefully you can get it to work.
