numbers on the right represent your projections prior to submission and the numbers on the left are the actual grades?

Disturbing lack of baseball cards in that submission. Nothing oddball enough that you still need?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

High fives!! If you are happy, I am happy. I am so stupid, I don't know what any of these cards are. For your personal collection, or is there a large market for these? Being serious.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

not so, I have decided to think outside the box and start collecting actual old baseball players.
.......we just broke ground on and old folks home back down on Murcer Meadows..where I can keep 'em.....and put them to work forging autographs and spooning out wrinkles.
what with the medicare checks and all I think it will be a solid investment
  • murcerfan:

If you're considering parting with any of those Pirates of the Spanish Main, I'd be very interested.
Building sets: 1888 N18 Parasol Drill, 1888 N19 Pirates of the Spanish Main, 1911 T68 Heroes/Men of History (PSA 4+), 1952 Bowman Baseball (PSA 6+), Pre-war British soccer sets

    edited to add:

swaps for more of the same are always considered
  • Thanks. I only have a couple that I'll be sending in for grading, so nothing to swap at this point. Incidentally, the "Mans Veit" card is mislabeled in the pop report, and may be on your submission. It should be "Mansvelt". I send a note to PSA and they corrected it in the set registry, but it's still mislabeled in the pop report. I think they got bad information from the American Tobacco Cards book checklist, which has the same mistake.

    Matt

I clearly labeled both lines as MANSVELT on those..... in bold block caps.

I guess everybody makes mistakes.... and once made it's worth repeating.

The W.W.G. Sea Raiders should also be labeled as such, as is the manufacturer is not listed on the label........common with many non-sports sets.

dirty harry: It's been a while since I watched the movie, but isn't the quote, "A man's got to know his limitations." Apologies in advance if I'm wrong.

PS- I love Frank, Nolan and Clint, not that there's anything wrong with that.
