I received an invite to the next PCGS Invitational in Las Vegas, June 14 to the 16th today. While I appreciate the invite, I have one question:
Why don't you have it somewhere else besides Las Vegas?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Other possibilities could be Philly, DC, Baltimore, Norfolk, Richmond. Did anyone notice that I listed cities in the Mid-Atlantic area?

But I can see at least one big reason for Las Vegas ... There are cheap air fares to there from almost anywhere in the US. And lots of hotel rooms and 'adult entertainment'.
It's a 5 hour drive from here to DC and somewhat more to Baltimore. That would be about the limit of what I would even consider driving. Air fares, booked in advance, can be very very cheap!
Edited to say --- oh well, they found me. Got my invitation in today's mail.

I was in shock when I read that! I'm still waiting for the seminar on how to cross ACG coins to PCGS and then it might be worth going!
Or perhaps -- how to AT your coins and get them into PCGS slabs. Now that'd be interesting as well!

Why not have it in a more centralized location,. like Denver?
