I've never seen him in an unfair situation on either side. Nice guy and easy to deal with.

  • San Diego is pretty lame for local dealers...

Brick and mortar...I go to San Diego Coin and Bullion in Claremont Mesa, Broadway Coin in El Cajon, and occasionally Chula Vista Coin and Stamp for supplies.

For those of you going to Long Beach....look for Ted's Coins...Ted Koopman. He's one of the good ones down here, but works mostly shows and from his home.

I have about 5 local dealers that I do business with weekly

But there is one main supplier for all of these guys, and thats is where I spend 90% of my cash

He always has fresh buys ($10,000-$60,000 a week).

Now! he has some GOOD coins all the time

It is all I can do to try and keep up with his inventory

  • My local brick-and-mortar dealer is the Alabama Coin & Silver Company in Huntsville, AL. Charles Cataldo is the owner. In the suburb I live in, we have no dealer, and the demand and growth of our city is there. I was thinking of doing this myself if I don't find another job.
