    Gorgeous....absolutely salivatory (zat a word? scumbi?)
    No matter how carefully those cards were put in the album, each corner will be indented in the shape of the hinge. Think about that as the price rises out of reach...and the reserve still doesn't get met!

    Awesome piece. The value here is in the coolness of the complete album, not in the condition of the singles. The sum of the parts is greater than the whole here.

    I just rec'd a similar item to eBay from a consignor, a 1938 Churchman Boxing set in the presentation album.
    Its 1 of those items that is too cool to sell, i'd like it for myself...jay

    I have a 1936 Olympic album that is really cool but every card is permanently marked by laying inside corner slots in the pages. Is this the same way the 48B's are in the album? Has anyone seen the inside of this album?
