Wondercoin, I'm wondering as to who graded the 2004 MS70 S.A.E. That should easily bring 5 figures!

Any ideas as to who it is?

Paul: I have no idea about that 2004 MS70, unless it is was "mistake coin" PCGS corrected that was referenced on a US Coin Forum thread about a month ago (and not taken off pop report yet?)

I believe PCGS, to this point, under the "new regime" will essentially not grade a Silver Eagle MS70 because the coins "turn in the holder". I also believe PCGS is/has been carefully studying this issue - perhaps 2004 Mint produced coins may address the "turning" issue such than MS70's can be slabbed later this year.

I too find it very interesting that several years have gone by w/o a single MS70. I was having thoughts that it may indeed have been a mistake on the pop-report. Hopefully it will get resolved, but in the meantime, I would like to say CONGRATS to whom ever made it, if it truly exists!
