Quarter Reg: Really exceptional gesture by Manofcoins...

I don't know if it's purposeful, but I think it's great to allow David Poole to break into the top five by "shelving" your set! I may be wrong about the intent, but I think it allows David Poole to have his set Pedigreed and regraded. Very unselfish act! I hope the attitude you've shown is catching!
Now if we can just figure out why someone feels the need to have TWO sets at the "Top" of the Quarter Registry for as many years as I've been on this list (3+), someone else can benefit from moving up the list! I'll never get there, but at least some of these guys will!
Kudos to Manofcoins

What exactly does that mean "shelving your set". I see that Craig's set was removed, I thought
it would remain in the all time finest catagory. I think once your done with a set its a good idea
to remove it from the registry. This allows other sets to start competing for that top spot again.
I have been considering this for my Roosie clad set.
Way to go Craig...

all time finest category. Looks like either a coin was removed or Craig got hit with the dreaded
nograde that PCGS uses when a coin was sent in for a regrade. I'm sure we'll see it at the top again.
I'm still considering putting away my clad Roosie set and removing it from the registry.
Manofcoins, whether or not your motives are altruistic, you and I both know that you have been one enormous help to me in acquiring any Washingtons of quality that I have in that set.
In case any of the rest of you don't know, this fellow not only has an exceptional eye, he is also an exceptionally nice guy.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
My set also would not be where it is were it not for Craig's generous help.
He's one Class Act!
Craig,
I hope we'll see your set back on top in the near future.
