Rare 1883-CC ERROR Morgan...NEW VAM???

I'm offering for sale a one of a kind 1883-CC beautiful MS64/65 Morgan. The exception to this coin is that the first "C" on the mint mark has a very unusual marking to it. With the naked eye, it looks like an "S", but under closer view, it is a "C" with a piece of the metal that did not appear to get stamped all the way. There is also a die mark under the "1883" on the obverse, with polish lines extending from the eagles right wing, (your left).

I have sent pictures to many collectors and dealers and noone has seen this type of mint error before. The coin is beautiful, with proof qualities.

I will consider only serious offers, pictures will be available upon request sent to your e-mail address. All offers will be kept confidential.
This coin is not for sale on any other "auction" site.

This coin will be sent via insured, registered mail, return reciept requested. I will only offer this coin for 5 days on this site, after that, who knows.

Thanks!

Are you sure it's not an added mint mark?

    Steve,

I'm 100% sure it's not an "added" mint mark or any other alteration....

Why don't you send it in to be graded/verified? This would help you out in the sale of it. Or post a close-up photo in the thread, you've already sent it out to other collectors & dealers, let us see it too!

& couldn't you put all on the Morgans one thread?
