1985 Topps BB Blank Backs

Hey, does anyone know the value of these? Out of the 200 packs I opened as a kid, only one was a blank back. Just curious as to if this is a "common" error or not.

blank backs are not common, on the contrary they are scarce. the value is determined by the player of course as i do not think one can make a full set of blank backs.....
    Good for you.

Ok, thanks. The blank back I have is of Jack Perconte. Wonder why the SMR doesn't list the blank backs and if it is a possible variation that PSA would consider?

  • Blank backs are not common in packs, but are very common in vending cases. Collectors have shied away from them becuz they may be considered "errors".

there has always been a bunch of blank backed '62 high numbers and I've never seen them catalogued.
