LoanShark recently sent me an item (I believe he got it from the bank he works at?) for no apparent reason. He's done many giveaways, and gave away rolls of the new nickels as well. The item was a American eagle, 1/10 oz. proof gold coin. On top of that, it came in a special mint packaging, in a small red box. In the box is a velvet book, inside the book there is a packet telling about the coin and the proof 1/10 oz. eagle encased in a plastic holder. There's also a gold eagle on the velvet case. It's direct from the US mint. I received that item today along with my sovereign.
Loanshark you just another fine example of why these forums live on. I can't believe how much this coin cost you, especially from the US mint. And your sending it to me for .. nothing. It is for sure the best coin in my collect and I will treasure it and keep it safe.
