Chinese token?

I got this in a small lot of older Chinese coins. It's made of brass and is slightly smaller than a US quarter. Any ideas?

I don't know what it is but I like it.
  • This would be a Sichuan token issued between Yr. 10 and Yr. 19 of the Republic. The token most likely circulated as coinages, as anything round and metallic was pressed into service. The size of the token indicates that it is the 1 wen denomination, but 2, 5, 10 and 100 wen denominations were issued.

Information from a Chinese catalogue that I bought.

May I also ask the source of these coins, they are great!
