Tech question regarding links on these boards

When I attach a link to an item I'm bidding on, are readers of that post able to bid on my behalf? For example, When I create the post, attach the link, then select that post from the forum list and click the link it says "You've been outbid by another bidder." But I'm the only one for whom that message appears, correct? Or do all readers see that message and therefore can get into my account?

    We all get into your account and can bid like there's no tomorrow... we have access to your PayPal, credit cards, bank accounts, offshore accounts and social security identifcation... it's a treasure trove for identity theft!
