Hello everyone! Here's a grading contest that is open to all forum members. The images below are of 2 different Fugio coppers that are both certified by PCGS. Enter your best "guess" for COIN A and COIN B. Whomever is the closest overall will receive a free MS-63 Morgan Dollar (date our choice, certified by NGC, PCGS or ANACS). Second prize is a circulated Morgan.

This is my first post, but I read these forums often. This seemd like a really good thread to partake in.
I vote MS64 brown on the first one, and MS62 brown (porus planchet) on the second. Judging by all the VFs, I may be way off on the second coin, but I have seen MS fugios in PCGS holders with less detail, so that is my guess.
Cool contest - I am looking forward to partaking in more discussions.

I will post the winner later this evening or first thing in the morning. Wow! What a range in grades. Everything from Fine to MS-64. Grading Fugio coppers can be very difficult.
