Don't reply through any link in the e-mail.
It could be a spoof site just like the Ebay spoofs.
Check your Paypal account only by going directly to their web site.

As soon as I saw it in notepad and Paypal has been working fine all the way through I figured it's a spoof. However, since I never had a Paypal message where someone supposidly hacked into my account I had to run it by the experts.

I feel sorry for the person who attempts identity theft on me,they'll be lucky if they can use my account numbers at Burger King.image
  • I get that e-mail all the time, I just delete it.

If your ever unsure about something just go to Paypal, never log in through a link.

Rob, I think they tell you somewhere that they wouldn't ask you to log into your account in that way (via a link). Send it to the PayPal fraud address, and that will take care of it.
