Without any previous contact whatsoever, I got this offer for the PSA 5 Mantle 1969 White Letter I had on ebay

Anyone else had this guy give this kind of an offer? I don't know much about the driver and the card was being sold for a customer of mine, but I definately got a good laugh out of this one,

I do not know about the club, but he/she most likely is a rep for the company and probably has a dozen or so clubs as promos for his customers.

Never had an offer like that but that club would retail at around $500-$600 but if you shopped around you might get it cheaper.

What is the Book on the Mantle? about $350 - $400

Ask him if he will let you test the club out before you decide, my local shop does that.

I think 1420 is right, but if you play...it doesn't sound like a bad deal. Of course, who knows if the guy is trying to scam you or not. If he ships the club first, then maybe.
