will the 10 new countries to join the EU.........

Go to the Euro or do they plan on keeping their old currency? I read several articles about the additional countrys and none of them mentioned the currency.

In a few years the people will pay in euro's.... I think 2007 or 2008.

They don't have a choice. They can only delay the inevitable. Only UK and Denmark have the "opt out" clause of the Euro coinage. I do not know what the atmosphere in Copenhagen is, but I do not forsee UK giving up the pound any time soon.

I read somewhere, but I do not remember where (on-line) the timeline for some of these new EU nations to begin issuing Euro coinage. Seems that none will start until at least 2007.

I wish these new EU countries would issue the coins sooner so I could add them to the ones I already have. Gatewest coins issued beautiful holders
for the Euro sets that were minted the first year of the EU. I'm hoping they'll put out matchings sets for when the 10 newest member countries issue their
    coins.

What I WANT is the OLD (current) coins that they use. Can anybody help? I already have some of them but not all!

Joe, do you have any of the Polish blister packs of current coinage?

    John,
I do have some of the current Polish coins. I'm not sure what the "blister packs" are though.

Here's one example. There are a number of varieties.
