Look at these rupees...something looks funny

I was doing my normal surfing of ebay and came across this auction for two silver rupees. Notice the one on the left side does it not look like the word "Victoria" is missing with exception of the "A"?? It sure looks that way to meimage

    I think I see the remains of a V as well as the last A. Not sure, but I may be detecting a hint of the other letters.
