I wonder what this would crossover to?

Can anyone tell me what this Jordan RC would crossover into a PSA holder?

86-87 Fleer Auction

I am curious to see what some other members think before I post any kind of remarks to this auction.

*edited for spelling. damn I hate that.

Just me but that upper right corner looks terrible and that is a small scan. There is obvious chipping on the left side. Actually each time I look at it the corners get worse and worse. ALL of them. This does not include what you cant see on the back or "surface". Im thinking less then a 6 in a PSA. Especially after my Callahans. (yes I still am and I will get over it eventually!!)

Probably has wrinkles to add to the corner wear. BCCG 7 must have some serious issues on it since they all seem to grade 9 or 10. I'd say this card is in the PSA 5-6 range.

That card is a small pic on a white background and is still terrible. I say PSA 4 or 5. I have had a few 6s and they are much nicer

I agree with Allen - PSA 4 and at best a 5. The sticker does look nice though. felix76 - What raw 86-87 Fleer cards do you need. I have quite a few that are not worth submitting because they are not 9's. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Looking at all four corners and both top blue borders on the Jordan card, I'd really have to call it a PSA 4 at best, with a distinct possibility of it only getting a 3image

  • My thoughts exactly guys.

The auction ended for a little over $500 though. I saw the BCCG7 and looked at the card and there is no way it is worth that. I thought it was kinda funny to send it to BCCG in the first place. Must have known they would have gotten a higher grade and a pretty good selling point. (If you are trying to scam of course) Not saying the seller is a scammer, but it was not identified in the auction that BCCG was a lower tier grading service and not comparable to other 7's. This has to be one of the funniest auctions I have seen in awhile. Seems pretty funny that bidders would get in a frenzy for a VG Jordan RC.

At least it is pretty well known that it is real though.

This is obviously one of the few cases where a small scan HELPS the seller. He should have stated what a 7 means, IMO.

Well you have to figure that a complete sticker set usually gets $100 and that the set looks pretty clean and a good set w/o a Jordan can bring a good $300+
